Emily Rodil, LICSW, MSW
As a therapist, I approach my work with a deep understanding of the complexities of human behavior and emotions. With a background in crisis care and intervention, motivational interviewing, and complex medical/familial issues, I am equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to help clients navigate through their struggles and find healing and growth.
I believe in the importance of creating a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, and I strive to build a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust and empathy.
In my practice, I integrate various therapeutic modalities, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual client. I draw from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help clients gain insight into their thoughts and behaviors, develop coping strategies, and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness.
My ultimate goal as a therapist is to empower individuals to overcome challenges, embrace personal growth, and live more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
